Twelve drinking water wells were rehabilitated in villages located within the Zanaga licence area.
ZIOC, through its 100%-owned operating company MPD Congo, has been a long-standing partner of health and education programs within the Project’s host communities.
In January 2026, twelve drinking water wells were rehabilitated in villages located within the Zanaga licence area. These works covered ten wells originally constructed in the first quarter of 2017 under the Company’s community health programme, as well as two additional wells, as part of its ongoing commitment to improving access to safe drinking water.
Florent Lager, MPD Congo’s Administrateur Général Adjoint, and Marty Knauth, MPD Congo’s Administrateur Général and CEO of ZIOC, attended the commissioning ceremonies for the rehabilitated wells.
